Waldorf sign and East Van Cross set these shirts' skyline apart

Here's a way for you to show your Vancouver pride without having to don some everyday souvenir T; ditto for your summer guests from out of town.

Local artist Ella Kirk, of the indie label Milk Milk Lemonade, has just designed this skyline screenprint, with everything that's cool on view: yes, the East Van cross is there, as is the late, great Waldorf, the Astoria's neon, and the Woodward's W. Now that's our kind of city.

Sketched out in simple black and white, the screen print emblazons all-cotton Ts and tanks ($45), and our fave, fleece-lined crew neck sweaters ($65).

All are digitally printed on Main Street.

Find them at Saturday's (August 24) BLIM market for VIVA Vancouver on Granville Street, or later at the Portobello West market on September 7 and 8.

My VanCity tank went down a storm at a recent trip to the U.K. Lots of acknowledgement and enquiries. Sooo unique!
