Homeless in Vancouver: Something to reflect on perhaps

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Up here on top of the food chain, we humans tend to look down on all the other species of life on earth (our peers) because (we think) none of them have reached anywhere near the heights of our civilization and thus have nothing to show us.

A dog isn’t too proud to jump up on top of a chest of drawers from where it can see the world pretty much as we do, but most of us wouldn’t dream of stooping to its level. All this means is that most of us miss out on the beauty that the dog sees in the world.
