Vancouver park board unveils powerful transgender awareness campaign (video)

On March 26, park board chair John Coupar announced the launch of a new public awareness campaign, which aims to make community facilities like swimming pools and fitness centres more transgender-friendly.

Although the campaign is currently in its pilot stage at Hillcrest Centre, the park board plans to address signage and introduce changes in other facilities in the near future.
