The Vancouver TheatreSports League presents Throne and Games from April 9 to June 30 at the Improv Centre (1502 Duranleau, Granville Island). Shows will run every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 pm.
The show is inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones and the book series it is based on, George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
The improvised-parody format sees three improv families battle it out through classic improv games to see who will claim the Iron Throne.
Each night, the audience (referred to as the Old Gods and the New) will suggest prompts to further the action and decide which characters will be eliminated.
