      From April 30 to May 10, the DOXA Documentary Film Festival takes place at the Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour), the Cinematheque (1131 Howe), the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton), SFU Woodward's Cultural Programs in the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts (149 W. Hastings), and the Post at 750 (750 Hamilton).

      This year's edition of the annual celebration of documentary films features a special spotlight on satire and subversion and includes films such as The Yes Men Are Revolting, France Is Our Mother Country, Human Geography, Iris, and How to Change the World.

      Tickets for the DOXA Documentary Film Festival range from $11 for most film screenings to $175 for a festival pass and can be bought online in advance.
