George R. R. Martin thinks that Walter White is a "monster"

In a recent blog post, the Game of Thrones author said that "Walter White is a bigger monster than anyone in Westeros."

While there's no denying the Breaking Bad protagonist isn't exactly the warm and snuggly type, there are definitely a few of Martin's characters that could give White a run for his money.  What about Walder Frey, Gregor Clegane, Aerys II Targaryen (also known as the Mad King), or Ramsay Snow?

On a more conciliatory note, Martin goes on to say that in terms of Game of Thrones and the Emmys, "this year is our best chance of actually winning one.  Given the splash the Red Wedding made, our profile is likely as high as it is ever going to be."

He cautions, though, that "there's no way in hell that anyone is going to defeat Breaking Bad."

Something tells me the White Walkers won't be taking this well.
