3:01 Pick Me Up: Midnight Oil

    1 of 2 2 of 2

Let’s face it: 3 p.m. is the cruellest time of the workday. The morning latte has worn off, and the post-lunch crash has you staggering around like an extra from a George A. Romero flick. That’s why, each weekday at 3:01 p.m., we present you with a video hand-picked to kick-start your heart.

Today’s offering: Released a good couple of years before "Beds Are Burning" made Midnight Oil an international sensation, "Power and the Passion" raises some interesting questions.

Like, for example, was singer Peter Garrett separated from the guy from The Hills Have Eyes at birth?

And why didn't a dance that might best be described as "The Lurch" ever catch on?

And is that not the best drum solo of all time at the 2:25 mark?

Don't bother answering the last one, mostly because it's so completely obvious what the response is.
