Ryan Reynolds hit by car in a Vancouver parking lot
Actor Ryan Reynolds was struck on Friday night by a car in the parking lot of the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Vancouver.
The Vancouver Police Department has retweeted messages by several media outlets regarding its investigation into what appears to be a hit and run.
CTV has reported that Reynolds came into contact with a vehicle believed to be driven by a paparazzo.
Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, was reportedly not injured and was back on set the next day.
He's in town filming Deadpool.
To show he still has a sense of humour, Reynolds offered an amusing response to CBC's Richard Zussman's tweeted request for an interview.
"Put Beachcombers back on the air and I'll call," Reynold replied over Twitter.
Update (April 13): A Richmond photographer was arrested on April 12 by Vancouver police for hitting Reynolds.

This is stranger than fiction. He was hit by a car in Vancouver, when he was a teenager and hospitalized with broken bones. Your family may be here Ryan; but get them to visit you in another town!!
