On April 24, 8 pm, FUSE: The Noise of Silence takes place at the Vancouver Art Gallery (750 Hornby).

The event, guest curated by Music on Main artistic director David Pay, features cutting-edge art, music, and performance.

Inspired by notions of listening, the evening will include Conor Wylie's The Dream Bird, Vancouver-based artist Michael Red and pianist Rachel Iwaasa, dance lessons with Claire French and Kara Nolte, a listening lounge created by Jonny Østrem and Michael Red, 17th-century Italian music by soprano Camille Hesketh and theorbo player Guzmán Ramos, Florence Belmore in Wild, and spontaneous composition by Jocelyn Morlock and James Maxwell.

Tickets for FUSE: The Noise of Silence are $20 (free for Vancouver Art Gallery members) and can be bought online in advance or at the door.
