As the Guardian (and many other media observers) correctly guessed, there was far more to Dennis Quaid freakout video than viewers realized.

Numerous others suspected prankster Jimmy Kimmel was involved, but no.

However, it does support Kimmel's theory that Quaid was doing some voicework for animation.

The viral video, purportedly of Quaid having a temper tantrum on the set of an unidentified film, was an excerpt from a longer Funny or Die video, revealed in its entirety on April 15.

The full video reveals who the real dickhead is, as well as the horseshit, zombies, bunch of pussies, baby, and garbage.

Since Dennis is the younger brother of Randy Starwhacker Quaid, who has his own collection of viral videos and media gawking points (while he was based here in Vancouver, no less), onlookers can't be blamed for mistaking the excerpt as real.

Quaid's no stranger to pulling stunts, as he's been involved in several hidden camera pranks for Ellen DeGeneres in the past.

Now all that there's left to do is to sit back and see how Quaid's career is affected in the future by those who are never informed that the video was in fact a prank...
