The Sedin twins will be missing their regular linemate tonight when the Canucks suit up against the Calgary Flames.

That's because forward Alex Burrows has an upper body injury.

The Canucks tweeted that Burrows has been "taken to hospital after practice this morning for precautionary reasons".

He left the ice on a stretcher hours before the team was scheduled to take the ice for Game 4 of its best-of-seven series against Calgary.

Late in Game 3, Burrows received a game misconduct after fighting Kris Russell and receiving a boarding penalty for taking a run at young Flames star Johnny Gaudreau.

Burrows played 21 minutes and took six shots in his team's 4-2 loss in the Saddledome.

The Canucks have also announced that Sven Baertschi has been recalled from the Utica Comets.

The 22-year-old former Calgary Flame scored two goals in three games with the Canucks at the end of this season.

Uh oh. I don't know about you, but I'm a little nervous. I'm wondering is this is the quite before the storm for Vancouver.
