Vancouver Canucks need to figure out how to beat Jonas Hiller in Calgary Flames goal

The Vancouver Canucks fired the puck at Flames goalie Jonas Hiller 43 times in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.

But by the end of the night, the Canucks only had two goals.

It was enough to win that night, but it might not be sufficient this evening in Game 6 when the Flames will be trying to win the series before their supercharged fans in the Calgary Saddledome.

Hiller has only allowed nine goals in five games. He's also posted a superb 0.942 save percentage against the Canuckis in this series.

In five games, the Canucks' top goal scorer this season, Radim Vrbata, has only one goal on 18 shots. And that was an empty-netter at the end of Game 2.

Daniel Sedin has been a bit more successful, scoring twice on 22 shots. Meanwhile, Yannick Webber has been held off the scoresheet with all 13 of his shots in this series.

As good as Hiller has been, Canucks goalie Ryan Miller has posted even better stats in his 98 minutes of playing time.

Miller's goals-against average in the series is a microscopic 0.61 and his save percentage is a stratospheric 0.972 percent.
