These are nobody's memories: PFLAG Canada for legalizing same-sex marriage everywhere

While same-sex marriage may be legal on this side of the 49th parallel, it's still a patchwork progress south of here.

That's not to mention where it's still lacking elsewhere in the world. There are only 18 countries, with one more to join them when laws take effect, where it is legal. That leaves 178 countries where same-sex couples cannot marry.

PFLAG Canada, which assists Canadians struggling with issues about sexual orientation or gender identity, is looking beyond our borders to help those in need elsewhere in the world gain the right to same-sex marriage.

They've launched a campaign called Love Made Legal to raise awareness about it and to ask people to sign a petition.

They're also asking people to share their wedding stories and pictures with the hastag #lovemadelegal.

They've also made a moving video that illustrates the impact of being excluded.
