Doggie treats at Bones
As an aspiring dog owner, I walked into Bones Pet Stores at 191 Smithe Street with the intention of looking at canine treats.
The salesgirl, Mikhayla, was happy to show me around and led me to a corner where she particularly recommended the FeelGood brand (founded in North Vancouver) and good dog, which comes from the States.
It has a delightful flavour of peanut butter and jelly.
Both of them were priced between $8.99 to $9.99. It's higher than Milk-Bone but that's the point of it.
The store also had doggie peanut butter cups, which Mikhayla recommends only on special occasions. I like the look of Bones and the service delivered.
Of course, the store has various ways to treat your dog—and cats, too. On my way out, I noticed dog tags priced at $9.99 made in-house and are a lot of fun for your dog to show off. They're available in all the colours of the rainbow.
What I learned is that you can have all the goodies in the world but nothing can match puppy love. That's priceless.

Just love this store. They opened a few months ago two block from where we live. The service at this store is beyond words. Pasha the owner really looks after all of his furry customers and has a great team to back him up. Welcome to the neighborhood and so glad you are here! Best Pet Store in Vancouver and anywhere else I have been! Keep up the great work! Jas.

There seems to be a plethora of pre-processed, pre-formed, mulched, powdered, full of filler, then pressed "milk bone" -like, fake dog treats. Not alot of raw meat and jerky treats anymore...since the China made non-regulated killer treat scare.
