Jessica Alba puts the wrap on Obakki Foundation scarf
The Vancouver-based Obakki Foundation couldn't have found a more chic model for its charity-fundraising scarves than Jessica Alba.
Alba was recently spotted in the limited-edition NOIR version, rocking the black scarf with a yellow sweater to unexpectedly cool effect.
The NOIR scarf supports the remote village of Matangai in South Sudan. When 500 of these scarves are sold, the village will receive a water well. A recent check at the Obakki site, here, shows the fundraiser currently needs to sell 315 more to build said well. (Other hues available include a soft-grey ash and rich red.)
In the Obakki Foundation's Scarves for Water project, villages in Sudan are each assigned a specific colour of the soft and flowy modal-blend scarves.
The project was founded by Obakki Fashion creative director Treana Peake.

I know I'm a sceptic. I bet Jessica Alba doesn't pay anything to wear these scarves.
Of course not

Most celebs don't pay for anything they wear. Just getting a star like Alba to wear it means they'll sell exponentially more.

What you wear = "cheap signalling".
