      Highlights of the annual Spot Prawn Festival include live entertainment, fun activities for children, cooking demos, a spot-prawn boil, and spot prawns for purchase. Held at False Creek Fishermen's Wharf.

      The Blarney Stone hosts a whiskey tasting that also includes appetizers, DJ Rob Steel, Irish dancers, and the Pat Chessell Band.

      At the Baker's Market, professional, amateur, and student bakers sell fresh-baked gourmet goods. Held at the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre.

       

      COMEDY

      Standup comedian Darren Frost performs with Patrick Maliha, Rob Mailloux, Alex Sparling, DavidDj Roy, and Carl Turnbull at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club.

       

      LITERARY EVENTS

      Vancouver storytellers Mary Gavan,  Priscilla Jones, Jennifer Martin, and Kristy Woodcock, fiddler Mary Brunner,  and Irish vocalist Philomena Jordan perform at St. Mark's Anglican Church.

       

      MUSIC

      Cheondoong Performing Arts Society presents a Korean drumming performance at the Massey Theatre.

      Standing Wave presents contemporary chamber music infused by thrash metal, horror movies, and obsessive behaviour. Held at Pyatt Hall.
