Actually the joint is a pufferfish, which produces a neurotoxin when it’s threatened. According to the friendly Scottish gentleman who narrates this BBC report, dolphins have learned to manipulate the pufferfish into giving up just enough of the good stuff to get stoned, and then they pass it around and head to the 7-11.
