B.C. deadline for MasterChef Canada auditions fast approaching

Maybe it is something in the water.

B.C. contestants gave a strong performance in the recent Season 2 of MasterChef Canada.

Not only did half of the top 10 hail from our province, but two made the top five, and David Jorge from Surrey won the competition.

If you think you have what it takes, the show is seeking applications for new contestants for Season 3.

Application information is available online at the MasterChef Canada website. The deadline for applications from B.C. is not that far away: June 21.

An invitation-only audition for 12 selected applicants will be held in Vancouver on July 7. At the audition, chosen applicants will present a dish to a professional taster and meet with producers.
