      MOVIES

      The Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema screens Pirates of Salé, which follows the transformation of four young Moroccan acrobats.

      The Vancouver Public Library Central Branch hosts a screening of Granny Power, about an activist group of elder women that formed 28 years ago in Victoria.

      The Rio Theatre screens The Blues Brothers, about two brothers who are on a mission from God.
