      U.K. jazz-dance trio GoGo Penguin headlines at Ironworks as part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

      FORUMS

      Nerd Nite Vancouver V. 13 features lectures on fonts, bird biology, and pinball at the Fox Cabaret.

      The Art of Loving hosts a women’s guide to self-pleasure that includes all the details from the basics of getting started to more advanced tips and techniques.

      SPORTS

      Women's-soccer teams from Japan and the Netherlands compete in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Vancouver (pictured above). Held at B.C. Place Stadium.

      THEATRE

      Broadway Across Canada presents Disney Presents the Lion King at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

      Annual Shakespeare festival Bard on the Beach presents The Comedy of Errors at Vanier Park.

      MOVIES

      The Vancouver Foreign Film Society presents a screening of The Tracker, about a man who is in pursuit of a woman accused of murder. Held at the Cinematheque.

      The Vancity Theatre screens Iris, director Albert Maysles's documentary that chronicles the life of Iris Apfel, interior designer and New York City fashion icon.

      The Rio Theatre screens Steven Spielberg's 1975 horror classic Jaws, about a killer shark that terrorizes a small island community.
