The Georgia Straight presents Marina and the Diamonds at the Commodore

Live Nation has announced that Marina and the Diamonds will play a show at the Commodore Ballroom on Saturday, October 24, in support of her third studio album, Froot.

Marina and the Diamonds is Welsh pop singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis.

Her piano/keyboard-driven songs vary from melancholic ballads to out-and-out glam pop, but her voice and melodic style are what make her unique.

A departure in her working style, 2015's Froot is a more personal and evocative production that showcases Diamandis' maturation as a performer, while still containing new wave-inflected pop hooks.

Tickets for the 19+ show are priced at $35 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale on this Friday (June 26) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets will also be available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at Red Cat Records, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
