Bar None nightclub, featuring Hapa Izakaya sushi and sake bar, ready for grand reopening in Yaletown

Bar None (1222 Hamilton Street) was a cornerstone of Vancouver's nightclub scene for over 22 years.

Now the Yaletown club is back, having been reopened by the Donnelly Group on June 12.

Tonight (June 25), the new Bar None will hold its grand opening.

This time around, the club features a Hapa Izakaya sushi and sake bar.

There's "refined interiors, an elevated VIP experience and innovative cocktail programming", according to a news release, which also promises a "dedication to booking the best local and international DJs".

Donnelly brought in Los Angeles nightlife operator JB Moresco to work on the relaunch.

Trevor Kallies is the club's beverage director.

On the other side of downtown Vancouver, Donnelly is partnering with chef David Gunawan to open Royal Dinette, a farm-to-table restaurant, in July.
