B.C.'s top tennis player, Vasek Pospisil, will have a tall mountain to climb in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.

That's because the unseeded Pospisil will face the Number 3 seed, Britain's Andy Murray, at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club.

Murray captured the Wimbledon men's singles title in 2013. Today, he defeated 6'11" Croatian Ivo Karlovic in five sets.

Pospisil made it to the quarterfinals earlier today with a come-from-behind victory over Serbian Viktor Troicki.

Pospisil, who was born in Vernon and calls Vancouver home, is also competing in the men's doubles at Wimbledon with partner Jack Sock.

After three sets today, the defending Wimbledon men's doubles champions were trailing Briton Jamie Murray and Australian John Peers two sets to one. They were playing in the fourth set as this was written.

Jamie Murray hails from Dunblane Scotland and happens to be the elder brother of Andy Murray.
