The Wolf of Wall Street has shown up in the tiny town of Pond Inlet on Baffin Island.

According to CBC News, one resident said that Leonardo DiCaprio was camping outside the Nunavut community.

DiCaprio has a long-standing concern about climate change and often mentions this topic on his Twitter account. And the Inuit people living in Nunavut are seeing their way of life irrevocably changed by rapid melting of Arctic ice.

(For more on this topic, check out Sheila Watt-Cloutier's new book The Right to Be Cold: One Woman's Story of Protecting Her Culture, the Arctic and the Whole Planet.)

In 2007, DiCaprio produced and narrated The 11th Hour, a documentary that brought forth the views of more than 50 politicians, scientists, and environmentalists.

"Global warming is not only the Number 1 environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity," DiCaprio said at the time. "We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet."
