Vancouver's Grace Park will attend Galacticon 4

Grace Park wasn't born in Vancouver—that claim to fame goes to Los Angeles.

But the Hawaii Five-O star moved to B.C.'s biggest city as a toddler, was raised in Kerrisdale, attended high school at Magee, and graduated with a psychology degree from UBC.

Park's celebrity grew across North America when she appeared in the 21st-century version of the Battlestar Galactica series. Now, as Kono Kalakaua, the Vancouver actor has spawned fan sites around the world.

That's why we expect some pandemonium when Park appears at Galacticon 4, which takes place in Seattle from July 31 to August 2. The event brings together the cast of the original series, which was launched in the late 1970s, and the more recent version starring Park.

Not anymore she won't. She and almost all the rest of the cast we're cancelled on by the promoter. Please update your article to better inform your readers of the update. Kate Vernon, Michael Hogan, Rehka Sharma, Aaron Douglas, Tahmoh Penikett, and more were all cancelled on / uninvited by the Con staff for very avoidable reasons of their own making. Please avoid this con if you haven't unfortunately already been duped into buying tickets.
