There's a "sold" sign placed outside a five-bedroom Shaughnessy home that's reportedly owned by Canucks forward Daniel Sedin.

Earlier this summer, real-estate agent Matt Pozer listed the 4,326-square-foot house on Nanton Avenue for $5.9 million.

An open house was held on July 2 for the home, which has a triple-car garage and four bathrooms.

Sedin and his twin brother Henrik each have three years left on their $7-million annual contracts with the Canucks.

They were recently asked by a Swedish newspaper if they would waive their no-trade contracts.

The twins responded that they intended on playing out their NHL careers in Vancouver.

It actually sold for $5,625,000, the website listing is just showing that it was sold, and then the listing price. Might have been a good idea to fact check this article with a realtor first?

Not sure where the article suggests that it sold for listing. Might have been a good idea to fact check your comment. Lol

The media likes to inflate real estate prices in Vancouver. Now is the best time to buy and all that bullshit.

So what is the take for 2 weeks work by some pompous money laundering agent?

the chances of the Sedin's seeing a Stanley Cup here in Vancouver are next to nil. Why not trade them to a team that has a good chance of winning a cup before they both retire? Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?

      Ha!

Probably more than you make in two years in your dead-end job. Sorry everyone can't be brought down to your level. Life sucks sometimes.
