Eight years after launching in New York, Eater is moving into Canada. The U.S.-based dining and drinking guide unveiled Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal editions on its website today (October 2).

British food and travel writer Nikki Bayley is at the helm of Eater Vancouver. In her welcome blog post, Bayley promises readers “coverage of the Vancouver restaurant, dining and nightlife scene and sharing what makes eating and drinking in this city so damn good.”

Across 27 cities in North America, Eater reports on dining and nightlife, food, pop culture, reality television, and celebrity chefs. Eater is owned by Curbed Network, which also runs Curbed (design and real estate) and Racked (fashion and shopping).
