The feud continues: Sinead O'Connor reportedly threatens to get legal on Miley Cyrus's skimpily covered ass

We knew Sinead O'Connor—as in Pope-portrait-shredding, Grammy-spurning, pork-me-in-the-pooper Sinead O'Connor—would probably not sit idly by while Miley Cyrus called her crazy as a shithouse rat (or something like that). Seems now that Ireland's angriest ordained priest is threatening to sue the twerktastic Hannah Montana on the eve of her much-ballyhooed Saturday Night Live appearance.

As reported here yesterday, after O'Connor offered Smiley Miley motherly advice in an open letter, Cyrus responded by screen-grabbing some of the shaved-noggined singer's past Tweets asking for psychiatric help, and then pasted them along with “Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....”( Actress Amanda Bynes is currently in a hospital receiving psychiatric help.)

You can read the bulk of O'Connor's new Facebook response to Cyrus here, where the letter's tone is not so motherly now. "If you cannot apologize I will have no choice but to bring legal proceedings against you since it is extremely hard to be given work when people think one is suffering from mental illness," O'Connor threatens. "I have no interest in or desire to cause you trouble but if you do not apologise for having deliberately tried to cause me hurt and trouble personally and professionally I will have to bring pressure upon you. When you end up in the psych ward or rehab I'll be happy to visit you... and would not lower myself to mock you."

At which point, we're expecting Cyrus to appear on the New York stage Saturday night in an ass-baring latex bikini, ready to rip up a picture of Sinead O'Connor.
