Live Nation has announced that alt-rap supergroup Deltron 3030 will perform at the Commodore Ballroom on Monday, November 18, in support of its latest album, Deltron 3030: Event II.

Comprised of rapper Del The Funky Homosapien, producer Dan “The Automator” Nakamura, and DJ Kid Koala, the group recently released its follow-up to the popular 2000 concept album, Deltron 3030.

“This time, the album has a specific story,” says Del. “The Deltron world has gone too far with technology. Everything’s destroyed, and you just see the remnants of our technology. The streets are run by criminals, the police are outnumbered and outgunned, and we’re like pirates, running rogue, doing what we do to survive.

"That’s the scene of it," he adds. "We’re trying to be as literary as possible while dealing with a musical format. I don’t know if you could even categorize this as a hip hop album--it’s more like a rock opera, but using rap.”

Individual tickets for the 19+ show are priced at $28.50, and Me+3 4-Pack Tickets at $90 (plus service charges and fees). Tickets go on sale Friday (October 11) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets are also available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at Red Cat and Beatstreet Records, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
