50 Shades BDSM trilogy far outsells next 1,000 bestselling paperback novels

The publicity director at Random House UK has blasted out a tweet that may depress fans of literary novels.

"Sales of the 50 Shades trilogy last week were almost twice as high as the sales of the next bestselling 1,000 paperback novels combined," Joe Pickering wrote in a message to his followers.

That prompted the following response from actor William Rycroft on Twitter: "Jesus Christ. Still yet to hear anyone say it's any good."

I've read it. Well, actually, listened to it on audio book -
I'd have to say that the writing is average, editing could have been better, but the content and story (yes, it has a story) is positively captivatingly orgasmic...
Oh if only all men could be so smooth...
