Halloween Video Countdown Day 11: The Skeleton Dance

    1 of 3 2 of 3

Every day until Halloween we'll be posting music videos that are creepy, kooky, and altogether ooky.

We're not always all about the rock 'n' roll here, you know. Okay, so a Disney cartoon is hardly high art, but the combination of Ub Iwerks's animation and Carl Stalling's music certainly lends a touch of class to this 1929 entry in the Silly Symphonies series.

Today's bone-us (you see what I did there?): If you can't rip yourself off, who can you rip off? Iwerks revisited the graveyard in 1937 for the Columbia short "Skeleton Frolic". Music by no one worth crediting, apparently.
