Humans' Peter Ricq pulls triple duty at Squamish Fest

Peter Ricq is playing double duty at Squamish Valley Music Festival. Well, okay, triple duty.

"I've been working and partying," the Humans member tells the Straight as he's finishing his mural contribution to an onsite art installation, which is filled with pizza slices, hungry ghosts, and a two-faced pugilist.

Later, of course, he and Humans band mate Robbie Slade will be closing out the day with a DJ set at the Perrier Greenhouse. What they'll be spinning, though, is anyone's guess.

"All we know is that we're going to play a lot of house," Ricq reports, adding, "[I] downloaded a bunch of songs, but never really had the chance to listen to them. I'm excited to hear what we'll be playing tonight!"
