It's hip to be square at Nerdfest III

Nerds know how to have a good time, and the third incarnation of Nerdfest is no exception.

On November 2nd, Nerdfest III takes the stage at Rickshaw Theatre, where the local bespectacled crowd can take in stage performers, live music, magic, sword fighting, short films, and a costume contest.

Participating bands include Heathen Strangefellow and the Vaudeville Vagabonds, the Whiskeydicks, and Tasty Animals. Academie Duello will be giving a demonstration of Western martial-arts styles while Harlequin Hypnosis Show, Mahafsoun Bellydance, Precious Metal, and Vesper Sephony take the stage for live performances.

Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 in advance at Millennium, Scrape Records, Academie Duello, Rickshaw Theatre, EXP Restaurant & Bar, and Strategies Games and Hobbies.
