Independent Wyatt Scott zaps invaders in a video unlike any other candidate's

Wyatt Scott has been a cook, an oil worker, and a businessman.

He is also on the board of the Mission Optimist Club.

But none of that will likely make him as famous as the clever video he created to promote his candidacy for Parliament.

In just 60 seconds, Scott soars on a goose, fist bumps an alien, slays a dragon, and destroys a robot with laser beams he shoots from his eyes.

In between, he mentions a few issues to which voters can expect him to apply the same omnipotence.

“University is too damn expensive,” Scott says. “Services like health care and social programs should be expanded, not cut. The indigenous people aren’t even protected by their own government.  Change is coming to Canada and I’m here to lead that charge.”

He's running in the new riding of Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon.

Because Scott is an independent, he doesn't have to worry about getting his message approved by a party central committee.
