The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors TAIWANfest Friendship Bento

On September 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm., the TAIWANfest Friendship Bento takes place in downtown Vancouver (700 block of Granville Street).

The event, which sees 100 Taiwanese Canadians treat 100 Canadian guests to a free bento lunch, is presented as part of TAIWANfest, the annual celebration of Taiwanese culture and food.

Each bento box features six dishes created by five Taiwanese chefs.
