Iggy Azalea uses Twitter to let the world know she's not a heroin addict

      One of the beautiful things about Twitter is that it enables high-profile celebrities to speak directly to their fans.

      Who doesn’t feel a little closer to Donald Trump every time he crafts a feel-good Tweet like “We must stop the crime and killing machine that is illegal immigration. Rampant problems will only get worse. Take back our country!”

      And God bless Ted Nugent for such beautiful Twitter sentiments as “For ValentinesWeek my arrows will penetrate many hearts”.

      Twitter is also useful for helping celebrities clear up misconceptions about them. Thanks to Iggy Azalea’s Twitter account, we now know that the Australian rapper isn’t riding the horse, banging junk, shooting smack, or hanging out at the Hotel Brownstone.

      On August 17, Azalea tweeted the following:

      What was strange was that word on the street wasn’t exactly running rampant about her surfing the china white. Thank Azalea herself for directing the world’s attention to mediatakeout.com—aka “the most visited urban website in the world”—for a story that showed her with visible scars on her hand.

      The site was obviously concerned for the MC's well-being. For a start, it ran the following non-sensational headline: DRUG ADDICT????? A Close Up Pic Of IGGY AZAELIA’S Hands . . . Shows TRACK MARKS . . . Like She’s A HEROIN ADDICT!!!”

      The story then went on to ask (in borderline illiterate, unable to spell Azalea's name correctly fashion): “What the HAYLE is going on with Iggy Azaelia. A new pic shows her with TRACK MARKS on her hands. Usually marks like that are associated with LONG-TERM heroin abuse.”
      Azalea’s response? That would be:

      Future celebrity Tweets to look forward to include Taylor Swift humpbuddy Calvin Harris clarifying that he’s not a racist misogynist, and Rod Stewart stating once and for all that he didn’t have stomach pumped after swallowing the jizz of two-dozen horny sailors.
