You may have heard that UBC claimed second spot among Canadian institutions in the 2015 Academic Ranking of World Universities.
But the university, currently mired in controversy after the departure of its president, didn't fare so well in a, well, less prestigious ranking.
Tech company Tilt has released its list of the Best Party Schools In Canada for 2015.
Here's the totally meaningful results:
- Queen’s (92.7)
- Western (89.6)
- Laurier (86.4)
- McGill (82.1)
- Dalhousie (80.3)
- UBC (78.2)
- StFX (76.8)
- Guelph (75.4)
- Windsor (73.7)
- McMaster (71.3)
According to Tilt, its self-serving Tilt Social Index incorporates the following data:
- # of parties per campus
- $ of money raised
- # of contributors per tilt
- Momentum behind the tilt (how quickly it reached its goal)
- Mobile app installs
- # of Keggers on campus
Tilt is a micro-crowdfunding app often used for college parties.

should be ratios, not numbers. smaller, less funded and less prestigious schools are much better party schools than big uptight ones. ie windsor > ubc.

The Senior Administrators have the best expense accounts for the most lavish parties.
Paid for by the Canadian Public of course.
