UN Women finds sexism in Google's autocomplete

Discrimination against women is widespread. Indeed, sexism is so prevalent, you can see such attitudes on display when conducting Google searches.

That's the idea behind an ad campaign by UN Women, the United Nations organization dedicated to seeking gender equality. The ads were created by Memac Ogilvy & Mather Dubai.

The autocomplete results featured in the ads are from March 9. But type "women need" into Google today, and you'll likely get similar results.
