Enjoy a barbecue while dumping recyclables at Ironwood Return-It

Encorp Pacific (Canada) is inviting people to dine on some nosh while doing something worthwhile for the environment.

On Saturday (August 29), the Ironwood Return-It (11020 Horseshoe Way, Richmond) is hosting a barbecue for those who drop off recyclables between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday (August 29).

You can bring beverage containers, electronics, cellphones, small appliances, packaging, and printed paper.

But be forewarned. Environment Canada has forecast fairly heavy rain for this weekend across the Lower Mainland.
