Small earthquake felt in Mission and Abbotsford

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there was a minor earthquake just east of Mission around 4:30 a.m.

It measured 2.6 on the Richter scale and is the second seismic event in the area in less than two days.

On Thursday (August 27) near 7 p.m., there was a 2.4-magnitude quake also east of Mission.
