Toronto police say they've found the alleged Rob Ford crack video
The Toronto Police held a news conference today (October 31) to announce that they have found the alleged Rob Ford crack smoking video.
Alexander Lisi has been charged with extortion in relation to the recording.
When asked if Toronto's mayor appears in video, police chief Bill Blair stated that, while he didn't want to get into the specifities of the evidence, he could confirm that his department had recovered a digital file that is “consistent with those that have previously been reported in the press".
Blair also stated that his department has not yet interviewed Ford.
Reporters with the Toronto Star and Gawker previously claimed that they had seen a video that showed Ford possibly smoking crack cocaine earlier this year.
"I'm shocked," Blair told the reporters in attendance in regards to the video surfacing.
Meanwhile, Ford had an explosive confrontation with journalists today after the video and court documents came out.
