Since you're already on the information superhighway, you probably already know everything there is to know about Caitlyn Jenner, whether you like it or not.

One of the biggest LGBT stories this year has been Jenner's coming out as a transgender woman. She first told her story during an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC News 20/20 in April, and then revealed her new name and look in the July issue of Vanity Fair.

Media attention has been intense and relentless, and has contributed to greater awareness of transgender issues in the mainstream.

Yet prior to her coming out, Jenner had already been living a life in the media spotlight. Jenner won the 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medal in Montreal, appeared on the infamous Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality TV series, and now has her own show I Am Cait.

Vancouverites will have a chance to see the 65-year-old Jenner talk in person as part of the Unique Lives and Experiences lecture series.

She'll be appearing at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre on February 23 at 8 p.m.

Tickets, which range from $40 to $500, are on sale now at the Unique Lives website.

Most recently, when Jenner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on September 8, she revealed some unexpected views, such as her reluctance to accept the idea of same-sex marriage as well as whether she wants to date or find a partner.
