Miley Cyrus covers Lana Del Rey, wears yet another shocking outfit
When she's not busy dry-humping Robin Thicke or allegedly smoking cannabis at European awards shows, Miley Cyrus occasionally takes the time to remind everyone that, when she feels like it, she can actually sing. Remember when she did that Dolly Parton song?
In her latest effort to get noticed for something other than sticking her tongue out, the former Hannah Montana dropped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and sang a rather impressive rendition of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness". While this was arguably an odd choice for November, it's hard to argue with the result.
As you'll see in the video below, Cyrus has once again shocked the world with her wardrobe choice. Seriously, who would have pictured the "Wrecking Ball" singer in a black turtleneck? As you'll also see, she couldn't keep her damn tongue in her head.

Musically it's not that bad but that tongue thing is so degrading, lame and hideous. Her outfits are usually so very desperate streetwalker/crack hook, too. i wish she would knock it off. Something tells me it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

Can I say once for the record that I do not give the slightest smidgen of a damn about anything Miley Cyrus does, be it wholesome, profane, "not that bad" or otherwise? I just need to get that off my chest. Whatever transparently manipulative, lame/crass gambits for attention and outrage she (or her management) concoct - when cometh the sextape, Miley? Or perhaps you could blow an orangutan on latenite TV? - I have actual music to listen to, by real artists, and refuse to buy into this silly, silly game of pretending that any of this matters. I mean, sorry, but is there ANY MORE TRIVIAL ISSUE IN THE WORLD OF POPULAR MUSIC that exists today than Ms. Cyrus sticking out her tongue? I would be more interested in reading articles about the consistency, texture, and size of Tad Doyle's bowel movements.
Just sayin'.

I mean, I was trying to find something very LOW on the hierarchy of things I would find interesting, you know. (But still above Miley!).
Tho' I did email Tad and point this article out to him. (I somehow doubt he will reply). Can't wait for that new Brothers of the Sonic Cloth album, it's sure taking a long time...
