Commodore Ballroom tours allow music fans access to sacred ground

If you've never stood on the stage of the legendary Commodore Ballroom and hollered "Hello Vancouver!" like Paul Stanley did at that KISS show back in '75, now's your chance.

This weekend Forbidden Vancouver is hosting two-hour tours of the fabled music venue led by local musician Aaron Chapman, author of Live at the Commodore: The Story of Vancouver's Historic Commodore Ballroom.

Special guest is celebrated Vancouver rock photographer Bev Davies, who I still owe big-time for that awesome shot of me and B.B. King that she took back in '84.

Tickets for the tours--which take place Saturday and Sunday at 11 am--are $25, and can be purchased here.

P.S. We were just kidding about the hollering 'Hello Vancouver!' like Paul Stanley did part. Try to keep it down, please. The Commodore is sacred ground for music fans.
