From the Vault: A Vancouver Classic by Age of Electric

It always pays to know your history. With that in mind, every Saturday From the Vault brings you a classic music video by a Vancouver artist.

Okay, so the two pairs of brothers who made up Age of Electric were actually from Saskatchewan. We're going to claim them as our own anyway, because let's face it, moving to Vancouver did more for Age of Electric's career than staying in Lanigan ever would have.

After having a few big radio hits in the mid to late, '90s, Age of Electric called it a day. The group never officially broke up, but its members went on to find further success in Limblifter, the New Pornographers, and—in singer Todd Kerns's case—a high-profile gig as a member of Slash's touring band.

AOE recently reconvened, playing its first show in 17 years a few weeks back in Calgary. Fans can only hope this was not a one-off. In the meantime, we have our memories—and, of course, YouTube.
