Vancouver ranks among the easiest cities in the world for women to find a sugar daddy

There are a whole lot more sugar daddies in Vancouver than there were this time last year.

According to data published today (September 28) by the dating website Seeking Arrangement, the number of Vancouver men “seeking the lifestyle” increased 17.8 percent over the last 12 months.

That jump puts Vancouver in spot number seven, making it one of the easiest cities in the world for a man to find a woman who’s happy to enter into an "arrangement" where, according to the website, they will “reward a man for good behavior” and “exercise discretion” in exchange for an “allowance”.

The average Vancouver sugar daddy is 46 years old and 18 percent of them are married. They spend an average of $3,719 per month on partners they find using the website. According to Seeking Arrangement, that’s a little more than the global average of $3,300.

Victoria ranked 25th. In B.C.’s capital city, the average sugar daddy allowance is $2,781.

Edmonton placed 16^th, Toronto came in 20^th, Calgary 27th, and Ottawa came in 30^th.
