Ruby Slippers Theatre presents Hotel Bethlehem, an irreverent Christmas play, at the Firehall Arts Centre (280 East Cordova Street) from December 10 to 22.

Hotel Bethlehem is a holiday satire in the style of Faulty Towers and Monty Python. The play by Drew McCreadie gives audiences a fresh and hilarious take on the story of Christmas, one featuring shepherds contemplating sheep lotteries, Three Kings evading taxation, ridiculous Roman soldiers, and a blind census taker.

This production directed by Diane Brown features Stephen Beaver, Scott Bellis, Tim Carlson, Alex Diakun, Dustin Freeland, Sean McQuillan, John Murphy, Byron Noble, Kris Novak, Gili Roskies, and Alvin Sanders.
