Homeless in Vancouver: Wheelie neat Christmas tradition

      This bike has been a decorative fixture on its particular block in Mount Pleasant for as long as I can remember.

      And I mean fixture—no need to lock it up, the wheel rims are buried in the soil.

      Most of the year it serves as a planter. But over the Christmas holidays, just like the tree branches, the fence pickets, and the window sashes, this bicycle—as you can see—gets its own string of lights.
