The Georgia Straight presents Delhi 2 Dublin and the Funk Hunters at the Commodore

Live Nation has announced that Vancouver-based world music group Delhi 2 Dublin and Canadian electronic duo the Funk Hunters will co-headline a show at the Commodore Ballroom on Saturday, March 8, 2014.

Delhi 2 Dublin has played top festivals in Canada, the UK, and the U.S., and in 2011 expanded its horizons to include performances in the Pacific Rim and Europe. Concert-goers can expect an upbeat performance filled with the group's signature mix of Bhangra, Celtic, dub, rock, and electronic sounds.

The Funk Hunters has toured its high-energy DJ sets to some of the world’s most popular music festivals, including the Shambhala Music Festival and Burning Man, as well as to internationally renowned clubs. Armed with four turntables and a unique ability to create live mashups and remixes, the duo seamlessly blends original productions with everything from hip-hop to house, glitch-hop to drum and bass.

Tickets for the all-ages show are priced at $27.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (December 13) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website. 

Limited Early Bird tickets will be available for $20 (plus service charges and fees).
