Homeless in Vancouver: Another pink salmon sunset in the can

Only a person born and bred on the Prairies would be so small-minded as to compare a beautiful, vibrant, Vancouver sunset to the colour of canned salmon, but there it is.

These technicolour evening productions always make me feel small—in a good way.

I took these two photos on the northeast corner of West Broadway and Spruce Street, looking southwest as I was leaving the Waves Coffee House.

I watched another fellow take a bunch of photos a half-hour earlier, or as I saw it, a half-hour too early. I waited till the colours were ripe.
